Dialectical Behavior Therapy: DBT-informed workshop for
Healthcare Providers
This DBT-informed
introduction will focus on the 4 principal categories of skills:
mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress
tolerance. It will also highlight a framework of balancing emotional change and
acceptance. A working knowledge of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy
techniques is assumed, but no prior experience with mindfulness-based therapies
is needed. Class size limited.
