Learn and Play Bridge

Learn basic rules and strategies.  Build skills for a better game with work on carding and counting. Come with or without a partner. Play will take place each class.

Consulting the I Ching

Introduction to Internal Systems Therapy for Healthcare Providers

The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of psychotherapy offers a clear, non-pathologizing, and empowering method of understanding human problems, as well as an innovative and enriching philosophy of practice that invites both therapist and client to enter into a transformational relationship in which healing can occur. It can have an extraordinary, transformative effect on the practitioner and clients.

IFS Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy: DBT-informed workshop for Healthcare Providers

This DBT-informed introduction will focus on the 4 principal categories of skills:  mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance. It will also highlight a framework of balancing emotional change and acceptance. A working knowledge of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy techniques is assumed, but no prior experience with mindfulness-based therapies is needed.  Class size limited.

DBT Informed workshop

Understanding Medicare

For Baby Boomers approaching age 65 and for adults taking care of elderly parents, this is a general overview of what you need to know about Medicare: how it works, what it covers, what it does not cover, what are other health insurance options for seniors, what beneficiaries have to pay. Learn about other benefit programs and insurance products that could help defray your health care expenses.

Detoxification for the Body, Mind and Soul
