Monday, March 16 – In the interest of public health, the Martha’s Vineyard public schools have closed for 3 weeks until May until September. Therefore we are postponing all of our classes and/or moving them to an online format.
CURRENT CLASSES:
HiSET: the final class that was scheduled for Wednesday 3/18 is postponed until in-person meetings and testing is permitted. Students will be notified when date is set.
Photography: the entire class has been reworked, reset and moved online. The first session will meet Tuesday, April 28. Registration is open to new students.
Microsoft Office Basics: the third class that was scheduled for Wednesday 3/18 is postponed until a remote teaching platform is determined. Students will be notified.
Electrical Machinery (Offshore Wind): the class that was scheduled for 3/18 was moved to an online format starting Wednesday 3/25.
CSL: the final class that was schedule for Thursday 3/19 is postponed to a later date (timed to be close to the next exam). Instructor Bill Howland will contact students with status updates.
Public Speaking: the final class that was scheduled for this Thursday night 3/19 has been moved online and will run on Thursday, April 30.
ServSafe: the class that was scheduled for March 14 & 21 will be rescheduled in May. Students will be notified when date is set. Warning: remote classes and exams are not yet accreditable; do not take an online ServSafe certification class until you are sure the certification will be valid.

Quickbooks (original start date 3/26): Postponed until a remote teaching platform is determined. Students will be notified.
The Business of Farming workshop (3/26, 4/2): POSTPONED UNTIL FALL 2020
Intro to Business (original start date 4/1): CANCELLED. Will be held again in Fall 2020
Professional Scuba Diving (original start date 4/7): CANCELLED
Instagram Marketing: CANCELLED but has been incorporated into a new series: “How to Move Your Business Online”. More information to come.
Pesticide Applicators (original date 4/11): POSTPONED until statewide testing resumes

Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL) (original start date 5/4): POSTPONED TO SUMMER. Students will be notified when new dates are determined.
Hoisting 2-A/1-C License Prep (original start date 5/9): POSTPONED TO SUMMER. Students will be notified when new dates are determined.
