If you work for one of the many Martha’s Vineyard non-profit organizations, you may have started as a volunteer, or come to your organization after working at a large national business. No matter how you started in the non-profit world, knowing the basic principles of management as applied to non-profit organizations will help you become successful in your role.
In this class, you’ll learn how to define your management goals. You’ll be introduced to effective business communication in writing and speaking. Most important, you will leave the class with guidelines about how to manage your non-profit business life more effectively: your team, your board members, your clients and your vendors.
